As bad as it was, it should have been even worse. He threw two INTs, but FTN charted him with four INT-worthy throws.

Saints at Cowboys

  • Saints were 1st in DVOA in Week 1, Cowboys were 3rd (using last year's opponent adjustments, Dallas would have been 1st, New Orleans 2nd).

  • Derek Carr was the most accurate QB in Week 1 according to FTN's charted accurate throw rate and has had positive passing DVOA in five straight seasons.

  • Taysom Hill was first among qualified non-QBs in ‘win yards’ per attempt (yards after contact OR avoided tackle). Expect more Taysom Hill in Week 2.
